About the Role

The Supply Chain Sales Executive will be responsible for selling the company’s software solution to 3PLs, brokers, shippers, carriers, and enterprise accounts who are tenants of our existing enterprise customers. This position is responsible for identifying new business opportunities for the company’s software platform, establishing strong business relationships with existing and prospective customers, and supporting the company’s mission for accelerated growth plans. The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing the complete sales cycle process, including C- level relationship development, prospecting and qualifying, account strategy plans, sales calls, software demonstration and closing of the sale.


This is a remote/virtual position based in the US. Preference will be given to candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Dallas, Cincinnati.

Responsibilities:

  • As the Sales Executive for Turvo, develop C-level relationships with your customers
  • Develop strategies to win 3PLs, brokers, shippers, and carriers prospects by understanding their business drivers and objectives
  • Handle the entire sales process from proposal to close, reaching or exceeding sales goals
  • Maintain advanced knowledge of the company’s product, creating innovative solutions to market the company’s product to target market
  • Conduct sales visits and software demonstrations to prospective clients
  • Answer questions, describe benefits, and articulate pros and cons of various competing products
  • Maintain a high level of macro industry trends and participating in professional / industry organizations
  • Proactively identify growth areas for the company and recommend and implement effective ideas
  • Provide responsive customer service and resolve client issues quickly and efficiently
  • Support client onboarding and advise on technical and business matters after the sale
  • Represent the company at conferences, meetings, trade shows, etc.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience in supply chain solutions to enterprise accounts.  SaaS sales experience is desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sales, marketing or business management desirable
  • Must have entrepreneurial mindset with ability to identify and create new opportunities for growth and development
  • Thrives in fast charging environment and desires to be part of a world class team
  • Positive and energetic self-starter
  • Strong communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills
  • Strong prospecting, relationship building, negotiation and consultation skills
  • Ability to develop and expand a portfolio of clients by networking and marketing
  • Ability to perform at a high level with minimal management involvement
  • You are a high integrity, competitive and intellectually curious individual
  • A book of business and/or client following is a plus
