Job Description

In an effort to better serve our 47 million registered hourly workers and over 450,000 employer locations, Snagajob is looking for a small and medium-business Account Executive to join our  fast-paced and quickly growing team! Shifts by Snagajob is our innovative on-demand work platform, bringing the gig-work revolution to hourly work. As an SMB sales expert, you will be the face of our Snagajob Shifts product within a current and established market. You will grow the existing market with new business adoption, and educate employers on the value of the gig-economy. You will spend much of your time engaging with prospects, getting to know their business, and becoming a trusted partner in their operations and HR strategies. As an early employee of the Shifts team, you will significantly influence and shape all aspects of the business.

This role may be based remotely or in our Richmond or Arlington, VA or Charleston, SC offices.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Immerse yourself and own your assigned market, getting to know business owners and managers, and operating on their schedule offering flexible hours for calls/meetings
  • Prospect and close new SMB or multi- location concepts in assigned markets via cold-calling and using lead generating resources (Outreach and/or Connect&Sell knowledge a plus)
  • Own full lifecycle of sale - from prospecting to contract signature and account activation
  • Deliver phone/web presentations and demos with technical content and occasional in-person meetings
  • Build, manage, and continually develop a sales pipeline to achieve sales targets; review pipeline with manager regularly
  • Partner with Worker Operations and Customer Success teams to smoothly and quickly activate businesses and maintain sustainable market growth
  • Leverage your creativity, tenacity, and fellow team members to develop and execute strategies to hit customer acquisition targets that support our growth
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
  • Occasional (future) travel may be required

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in a fast-paced B2B sales environment, owning full life cycle of sale
  • Proven ability to consistently meet and exceed sales targets
  • Proficiency with CRM or sales tracking software required; Salesforce preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and deliver outstanding customer service
  • Exceptionally strong time management and organization skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects at once
