Shopify Plus is making enterprise commerce simple. We give high growth, high volume merchants the scalability, reliability, and flexibility they need. Shopify Plus is helping power commerce for companies like GymShark, Staples, Spotify, Fielmann, Vorwerk and many more. Shopify Plus is looking for an Account Executive with proven performance in a quota-carrying role to help us build up the German market. As part of our Sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies to generate new business opportunities with different types of merchants across Germany.

Requirements:

  • Advanced experience in a full-cycle quota carrying software or technology sales role, preferably in e-commerce
  • Track record of overachievement
  • Energy, motivation, and self-discipline to stay focused amongst the chaos of diving into a new market
  • A passion for talking to people, understanding their unique business needs, and showing them how to 10x their business
  • Energy and a strong work ethic
  • Self-discipline and the ability to stay focused
  • Analytical mindset and a curiosity to solve problems
  • Desire to work in and build a strong team environment where you make each other better
  • Have an impact; be involved and do something incredible!

Responsibilities:

  • Helping merchants to identify their goals and make the right decisions for their business to succeed
  • Creating new ways of positioning Shopify Plus as a solution for accelerated growth
  • Building strong hypotheses by analyzing merchant stores to identify potential pain points and growth opportunities
  • Building relationships with complimentary Shopify teams like Retail, Money, Tech Services, and Partners to co-sell and add value to our merchants
  • Impacting Shopify Plus's success as well as the entire sales industry
  • Working in fast paced and transactional sales cycles
