At RevenueCat, we make selling subscriptions in your mobile app easy. We launched as part of Y Combinator's summer 2018 batch and today are handling subscriptions for more than 5 million mobile subscribers, and are the subscription infrastructure for thousands of apps. We are a mission driven, remote-first company that is building the foundation for mobile subscription infrastructure. Top apps like WidgetSmith, Buffer, and Fishbrain count on RevenueCat to power their subscriptions at scale.

As the first Account Executive hire on the sales team, you'll be the primary point of contact for new prospects and customers from evaluation to deployment. You’ll partner with companies of all sizes to understand their product priorities and development philosophy. You'll also introduce them to the concept of managed subscription infrastructure through highly-engaging calls & demos to help meet important objectives. You’ll have the opportunity to work closely with our VP of Sales to help define everything from sales strategy to team culture.

A Day in the Life:

  • Engage with potential customers to fully understand their long-term product priorities
  • Establish strong rapport with key stakeholders involved in the evaluation process
  • Educate and convey the relevant and unique benefits of RevenueCat
  • Provide captivating product demonstrations and guidance on industry best practices
  • Manage inbound lead pipeline and contract negotiation process through close.
  • Create a strong feedback loop between our prospects, customers and our own internal team
  • Contribute to “tribal knowledge” in regard to learnings, best practices, and positioning
  • Exceed monthly revenue targets

About You:

  • 3+ years in a full-cycle sales role, ideally in developer SaaS.
  • Previous history of consistent over-achievement against targets
  • Ability to manage both high-velocity and enterprise sales cycles in tandem
  • Experience selling into C-Level, VP Product, VP Engineering, or IT
  • Structured, organized, detail-oriented, collaborative mindset
  • Empathy, positive energy, and courage to fail fast to succeed
  • Comfort with process and product ambiguity
  • Experience with Salesforce and passion to set up and improve new workflows to increase efficiency

In the first month, you'll:

  • Ramp up on our product, market, and industry
  • Learn our current sales motion, product positioning, and ideal target segments
  • Define a target account list
  • Close your first deal

In the first three months, you'll:

  • Do demos (1-on-1 and 1-to-many)
  • Work cross-functionally with Developer Experience, Marketing, and Product to capture customer sentiment
  • Start experimenting with outbound motions
  • Collaborate with Marketing on messaging and tactics that lead to top of funnel growth

In the first six months, you'll:

  • Provide feedback and guidance to improve the sales process and product
  • Have on-boarded several high value customers from beginning to launch alongside the developer experience team
  • Exceeding revenue targets and other key metrics
  • Interview new team members across the sales organization

Within the first twelve months, you'll:

  • Act as a mentor or potential lead of the new business team
  • Work with our VP of Sales to define the sales strategy for 2022 and beyond
  • Own relationships with some of our highest potential prospects & customers

What We Offer:
