Job Description

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • You will manage a full sales cycle - cold-calling, prospecting, lead generation, qualifying, managing the sales funnel, negotiating, closing deals all day long
  • Consistently meet and exceed individual and team targets
  • Develop and execute a sales strategy based on Clearbanc’s evolving needs
  • Track leads and sales metrics. Experiment with different approaches and use data to identify the approaches that work best
  • Help run experiments and drive product improvements to reduce customer frustration, friction and churn
  • Maintain close relationships with our entrepreneurs ensuring they have the best experience with Clearbanc. Many of our entrepreneurs take several rounds of financing from Clearbanc. We want to grow with our entrepreneurs

You will thrive if you are:

  • An overachieving ‘A’ player with at least 2 years of prior full sales cycle experience
  • Competitive and have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. You’re a top performer
  • Experience working within the finance space
  • Analytical, everything we do is based on data
  • Ready with strong negotiation skills and a “never give up” attitude. You love hard work
  • Ready to learn. You’re not afraid to take on new challenges head-on
  • Able to think creatively on how to improve the full sales cycle
  • Always thinking about how to do things better
  • Able to be engaging and transact with senior-level executives, C-Suite. Our customers are founders and entrepreneurs
  • Are ready with excellent verbal and written communication in English is required
  • Ready with experience as an entrepreneur is a big plus
  • Knowledgeable with tools like Salesforce CRM and Pipedrive
  • Open to feedback: our team practices Radical Candor
  • Adaptable - we don’t expect you to have knowledge or experience in finance or e-commerce, but you will need to be a quick learner
